Revit floors showing transparent.
When using a transparent background for solid fill patterns elements below the fill will show through.
If you run revit floor plan again the floor plan will.
Then it may appear that the solid fill is not working or is not working properly.
Which suggests perhaps a setting somewhere.
But here s the main lesson make sure you tick 32 bit.
You can control opacity amount.
No other option seems to work only 32 bit pngs seem to respect transparency in revit.
When the material library opens select the material you want to represent the solid.
When these elements take up a large amount of area e g.
3 in the form subcategory click on the material 4.
2 expand the mass category.
This isn t an underlay nor is it a transparent floor.
Given some walls that go from level 1 to level 2 and a floor at level 2 i have a project where these walls below show thru the floors in plan.
You created a solid form and would like to know how to change the appearance from transparent to solid.
Quite useful for entourage in coloured plans and elevations.
If i start a new project from the revit template i don t get this behavior.
